A blood pressure check measures the force of blood against your artery walls as your heart pumps. It is recorded as two numbers — systolic (the pressure when your heart beats) and diastolic (the pressure between beats). The reading takes just a few seconds and is completely painless.

24-hour blood pressure monitoring
A procedure fee of £30 applies if the test is performed outside of a consultation. Members receive tests at no additional charge when performed as part of their care.
