Dr Sermed Mezher qualified from the University of Manchester with Honours and a Master of Medical Research degree after being granted the Kidney Research UK Fellowship Award for his research. This allowed him to secure an Academic Foundation Programme (AFP) post where his work on NHS Change Management was published in the Leadership branch of the British Medical Journal (BMJ Leader).

 

Throughout his training his passion for education led him to begin posting educational content where he has amassed over 750,000 followers of his inspirational educational content, featured in news outlets such as The Guardian and The New York Post. His oral presentations include invitations to the Society of British Neurosurgeons meetings and at Kidney Research UK on helping to improve early identification of disease.

 

Regardless of his experience, medicine is a craft that Dr Sermed Mezher believes must be maintained with lifelong learning which he has a commitment to continue.
